Blessing Hands Foundation is a company limited by guarantee, incorporated in Ireland to support children and vulnerable individuals.

To create a world where every child and vulnerable individual is safe, healthy, empowered, and equipped with the opportunities needed to live a dignified and fulfilling life.

Our mission
To support the well-being, safety, and development of children and vulnerable individuals by providing access to essential health services, education support, safe accommodation, clothing, food, and compassionate care. We are committed to empowering the less privileged and survivors of abuse with the resources and opportunities they need to rebuild their lives and thrive.

Who we serve
- School-aged children who need health or education support.

Governance
Blessing Hands Foundation is governed by a voluntary board of directors. The board sets direction, oversees finances and safeguarding, and is responsible for the organisation's compliance. As a company limited by guarantee, board members are company directors under the Companies Act 2014 and would also become charity trustees on registration with the Charities Regulator. We are not currently registered with the Charities Regulator and do not hold Revenue charitable tax exemption. [RCN PENDING]
Board roles
Chairperson
Leads the board, chairs meetings, ensures decisions are properly made and recorded, and holds the organisation to its purpose.
Secretary
Maintains company records, convenes meetings, keeps minutes, and ensures filings with the Companies Registration Office are made on time.
Treasurer
Oversees financial controls, budgeting and reporting, and presents the accounts to the board.
Programmes Coordinator (optional)
OptionalOversees delivery of programmes, monitors progress against plans, and reports outcomes to the board.
Welfare & Safeguarding Officer (optional)
OptionalLeads safeguarding practice, oversees vetting and training, and supports the Designated Liaison Person.
Fundraising & Partnerships Officer (optional)
OptionalDevelops fundraising activity and relationships with partner organisations and funders.
